Izuku Midoriya VS Rise Leonardo Blog

(spoilers for MHA of course)

"When I was very young, most of my childhood heroes wore capes, flew through the air, or picked up buildings with one arm. They were spectacular and got a lot of attention. But as I grew, my heroes changed, so that now I can honestly say that anyone who does anything to help a child is a hero to me." -Fred Rogers

Izuku Midoriya, the Ninth User of One For All, the successor of All Might, The Future Symbol Of Peace, and the main protagonist of My Hero Academia.

Rise Leonardo Hamato, the Teleporting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, The One who took on Krang, The One who became a leader, and one of the many protagonists of Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Being a hero takes a lot of courage. Even though both have two different reasons for being a hero. Both have been able to save the world countless times, and in the end, they were able to take down the big bad of their series with their powers and the support of their family and friends! Now let's see which teenage hero would win this fight! Will it be Izuku Midoriya smashing the win from Leonardo, and only giving him ONE chance? Or will it be Rise Leonardo sneaking up on Izuku and teleporting the win from Izuku? Let's find out now!!

Welcome to my very first vs blog!! It's of course my number one mu! Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia VS Rise Leonardo from Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!

Before we go anywhere!

But first, some rules!! Izuku Midoriya will have feats from the anime/manga, and movies(as I know nothing about the other spin off series!) While Rise Leonardo will get feats from the TV series and the movie! Of course spoilers for My Hero Academia!

                                Background

                                                     Izuku Midoriya

Have you ever dreamt about being a hero? Having super speed, super strength, teleportation, pausing time, invulnerability, flight? In the reality of My Hero Academia however, nearly everyone on the face of the Earth had “evolved” to bear a superpower or “Quirk.” These Quirks are biological mutations that give roughly 80% of the population a special gift; a superpower to use however they wish. But although the other 20% of the entire population don’t have these “Quirks.” And that's when Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist, was born. It was always his dream to be a hero, like the number one hero, and his idol, All Might. Although, when Izuku was 4 or 5, he got the sad news that he didn’t get the joint in his foot that gave his quirk. Despite having two parents that had quirks, his mom having telekinesis, but only with small things, and his father, breathing fire. He didn’t get either or even a combination of them.. He was deemed… Quirkless… When Izuku heard the news, his entire life shattered, he was heartbroken. He still wanted to be like his hero, All Might, but he knew that it wasn’t possible for him, due to being a quirkless child… And he was just a Defenseless Izuku… or better yet.. A Deku…

Izuku was given the name “Deku” by his childhood friend/bully, Katsuki Bakugou. Kacchan, the nickname given from Izuku, gave him the name because he got Defenseless and Izuku had just combined them. Izuku spent most of his life being an “Exploding Bag” (not punching bag because Katsuki make big boom from hands) from Katsuki, and even being emotionally hurt by him, for just being a “quirkless nobody.” It went on for fifteen years, but then one very faithful day happened. Izuku was done with it, he wanted to fight back but couldn't, and Katsuki told him, and I quote, “Go take a swine dive off the roof and maybe you’ll be born with a quirk in your next life.” That hurt Izuku so freaking much, so he went home, until… In another part, a sludge monster villain had just robbed a store, and the Number One Hero, All Might was in the store too, and decided to go after the villain. As Izuku was going home, the monster found Izuku and tried to take Izuku’s body over to hide, but then All Might found him, and hit him with a good ol’ “Texas Smash.” which caused the villain to be defeated, and All Might captured him, putting him in some coke bottles. As All Might was leaving the scene, good ol’ Izuku jumped onto All Might’s leg, as All Might was leaving, he had dropped the bottles, causing the villain to escape, but we will get into that later.

As All Might landed on a nearby building, his time limit was getting to him, causing him to detransform back to his “True Might” form, and it made Izuku confused on who he was, but due to Izuku’s idolization of the number one hero, he finally asked the question, “Can someone who is quirkless, like me, become an amazing hero like you.” and long story short, he said no. Which hearing this, from the LITERAL NUMBER ONE HERO AND HIS IDOl, could really REALLY hurt quite a lot, but then explosions happened, and All Might figured it out. The villain got away. And this time… he got Katsuki! Izuku and All Might ended up getting there at the same time, and Izuku saw Bakugou trying to create his explosions which only caused more trouble, then… Izuku’s legs moved by himself! Causing him to go try rescuing his friend, and he wanted to save him, but then All Might came in to rescue them both, destroying the sludge villain in a heartbeat, but with a “Detroit Smash.”

After everything calmed down from the whole villain stuff, All Might found Izuku again, but instead changed his mind about Izuku’s question before, he told him the real answer, “Young Man, you too, can become a hero.” That day… changed Izuku… He finally got acknowledged as a hero from the Number One Hero, but the main question was, with what power was Izuku gonna use? He didn’t have a power, that’s until All Might mentioned that he was quirkless originally, like Izuku, and he got a quirk… named One For All, which we will get into later on. Although, being a little twig, his body wouldn’t have been able to handle the full force of it. So of course he had to train for ten months with All Might to be able to fully handle the power of One For All.

After gaining One For All from All Might, by ingesting his DNA, being his hair, he finally gained control of one of the strongest quirks, but it kinda didn’t go according to his plan. Because Izuku didn’t know how to fully control it, once he saved a fellow examiner, being Ochako Uraraka, he kinda broke his arm and legs, which was kinda bad, but the Uraraka did end up saving him with her quirk, and he got healed by the school nurse, recovery girl. After the whole exam situation went down, Izuku had gotten mail from UA High, the school he wanted to go into because it’s the highest school for heroes in Japan. Izuku had gotten a message from ALL MIGHT HIMSELF, telling him some news… He got into the school due to his score he got from rescuing Uraraka.

And that's the story of how Izuku Midoriya became an amazing hero.

                                               Rise Leonardo Hamato

Ninjas. Those sneaky assassins from Japan. We all love how badass they can be. Their stealth, their weapons, just everything about them is so freaking cool. Now how about we make four of them into teenagers, and mutants, AND DAMN TURTLES?! Well you get the Mad Dogs. Not the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they didn’t do that in this iteration of the turtles.

Born as a basic red eared slider turtle for Baron Draxum’s experiments to create mutants to rule the world, and he wanted use to the almighty, and amazing fighter in the world, Lou Jitsu. Baron had sent Huginn and Muninn, his little gargoyles to go fetch Lou from Big Mama, but he swore to never fight again, so he went with it. But after being basically captured without any hesitation, he would have soon noticed that Baron had been creating monsters by mutating them. So Lou didn't want him to turn Leo and his brothers into monsters, so Lou backed down from his promise and proceeded to fight back, as Baron’s gargoyles blew up most of the progress, and Lou got bit by a rat, right after that, the ooze fell on him, proceeding to mutant into a rat man slowly but surely, including with his new turtles he found from Baron Draxum.

As fourteen to fifteen years past, the turtles would have been now teenagers, as Leo would be around fourteen to fifteen, and he would be on an adventure, where he and his turtle brothers zip-line from Molina Tower over a high-class rooftop party where a shady deal seems to be going down... only to zip past it, going for the rooftop pool on the building next door to perform a cannonball into the pool. Before heading off to Rucker Park, Raphael notices the dog creature in a construction yard. The team instantly befriends it (more April and less Raph), when suddenly the jogger men also show up. The Turtles try to pass off as humans, dawning nerd voices and mannerisms similar to science fiction convention patrons. When that fails, a battle (and a much-needed Jersey joke from Leonardo) ensues, but after the two joggers and their little dogs reveal their true forms.

The streak of failure continues for the Turtles, for they are easily beaten and their weapons (excluding Donnie's Tech-Bō) are destroyed. April tries to take the bad guys on herself, but clearly they capture the "dog-thingy" in a magical power-restraining orb. The villains conjure a mystical portal on a wall, and when the headstrong teen goes after the bad guys, she disappeared through the portal with them.

The Turtles are completely puzzled as to how to free their friend or more importantly, where she went. Michelangelo says that he may have an idea, pointing out the symbol used to create the portal is something they all have seen before, referring to a small mystic device on Splinter's Do Not Touch Cabinet.

Raph asks Splinter if they can have the living room for the night as part of his plan for getting the device without him noticing. Splinter, however, laughs it off and refuses to leave after Donnie suggests he hook up the projector in his bedroom. Raph then comes up with a more complicated plan involving ten chickens and a gallon of rubber cement, but Leo manages to get the device by sneaking past Splinter, who passed out after his milk and cake.

Back at the construction site, Raph tries to figure out how to open the portal with the device. However, he freezes and starts to crack under pressure as his younger brothers make multiple side comments. Mikey then offers to open the portal and after holding the device over the wall, it starts glowing. Mikey uses the device to create a "M" like symbol on the wall, opening the portal. After his brothers congratulate Mikey on his effort, the four brothers "cannonball" into the portal and fall under to a mysterious location underground.

April then finds the Turtles and explains that they are in a hidden city under New York. She then leads them into a laboratory, where they find the "dog-thingy" and a delivery person who had fallen through a portal into the Hidden City shortly before the former creature's capture. They then see a large mutant-like being enter the room, takes the vial of ooze around the dog-thingy's neck and fills it in a large unit filled with mosquitoes. The mutant then uses the Oozesquito on the delivery man, who then mutates into an imitation crab mutant and runs off. The Turtles and April all watch in disgust and horror, as well as overhearing the mysterious mutant recall a successful mutation that worked years ago.

April then remarks that they have to rescue the dog-thingy, but (besides Donnie), the Turtles don't have any weapons. As Raph attempts to do a pep talk, April finds a lever, taking her and the Turtles to a secret room filled with weapons. Raph then finds some glowing mystical weapons, in which he, Leo and Mikey take. Donnie refuses the mystic staff and takes a purple crystal instead. The four Turtles and April return to the lab, bringing the attention of the mysterious villain.

As the Turtles argue on how they should approach a verbal confrontation of the villain, April suddenly jumps into action and attempts to free the dog-thingy. The villain's two gargoyle-like henchmen grab April and start flying around the lab (the three can be seen in the background during the following fight sequence). The four Turtles then begin to do combat with their mysterious new foe and his strange robot-like creation. Donnie then uses his Tech-Bō, which flies out of control and destroys the Golem, much to the villain's amazement.

The villain then introduces (or refers in third person) himself as Baron Draxum and tries to talk the Turtles into training under him. After Leo comically points out how Draxum is doing the "third person" gig, Raph, followed by the others, charge back into battle. After April successfully beats up the two gargoyles and is restrained by Draxum, Mikey then throws his kusari-fundō at the villain, in which the weapon suddenly lights up and sends Mikey flying across the room. With the others amazed, Raph asks how Mikey was able to activate his weapon, which the orange-masked turtle unwillingly does again as he explains. Raph then tries to activate a mystic power within his Tonfa, but it results in him shooting backward towards a wall. Leo, excited to find out what his weapon does, tries to use his sword to attack Draxum, up he ends up creating a portal where the red-eared slider is endlessly falling.

Donnie then starts to fight Draxum with his Tech-Bō, but Mikey accidentally knocks into him, and the two start bouncing around. Draxum then restrains the four Turtles and tries again in talking them into joining him. Donnie then notices that the lab is about to explode, as Mikey accidentally disrupts the tower's core when he first activates his mystic whip. The tower then explodes and splits around, releasing all the Oozesquitoes and the lab starts crumbling around the group (with a part of the roof falling on top of Draxum just as it starts to collapse). Free from his power-proof cage, the dog-thingy teleports out, over to the Turtles and April, and takes the five out of Draxum's lab. Mikey then uses the device to open a portal back to New York, but it is then smashed and destroyed as the group returns to the construction site. April then names the dog-thingy "Mayhem" for all the trouble the team endured that day. Raph then acknowledges about Draxum's supposed defeat and declares that the group should be called the "Mad Dogs" (in which Leo states that they should have another name instead). They suddenly notice that all the unleashed Oozesquitoes fly out of the open portal behind them and into the city. Leo then suggests that they should all leave.

Two years pass, Leo is now sixteen to seventeen, and ended up being the leader at the end of rise. But something happened in the future. In 2044, an invasion happened...from the Krang. There were only three survivors: Mikey, Leo, who sadly died, and Casey Jones 2nd, who is the son of Cassandra. The only way he survived was by a time portal gate to the past to find the key and stop the invasion. The turtles would have soon been chasing after the worm and the hippo who robbed a place to get the key for the krang, for the Foot Clan. Sadly, with Leo being a fuck up, they lost the key and the foot soon summoned the Krang from their dimension they were trapped in, and the turtles, splinter, and the humans went to fight the foot and stop the Krang from coming, but they were too late. The Krang came... Krang One, who arrived with his sister, Krang Two, and his brother, Krang Three. Leo and the rest of his family tried to fight back, but they failed... The Krang even turned Raph into a Krang Zombie. Everyone got away, and Leo was upset, and wanted to go back to save Raph, and blamed Casey for this, since he's from the future, but Casey told him that this never happened in his timeline.

After this interaction, Leo, Mikey, Donnie, and Casey went ahead to find Raph, as Splinter and April stayed back to destroy the key. As Leo and the rest were trying to find Raph, Casey realized that this timeline of Leo wasn't like Future Leo, and tells him, "You're impulsive, you're arrogant, and you don't see that every decision you make could cost someone their life! You want to know what really happens to your brothers in the future? They die. Everybody dies fighting the Krang." Then Leo finally admits he was a terrible brother.

Leo comes to terms with his mistakes, reconciling and escaping with Casey. They reunite with Mikey, Donnie, April, and Splinter elsewhere in Metro Tower, but soon notice that Raph is suspended in the room within a peculiar cocoon. Leo slices open the cocoon to free him, but is only met with hostility as Raph turns into a Krang zombie. Raph seizes the Mystic Key from them as Krang Two and her zombies arrive to destroy Splinter, Casey, and the Mad Dogs. Krang One and Krang Two then leave with Raph for the top of Metro Tower and unseal the Prison Dimension with the Mystic Key, finally bringing forth the Technodrome. Krang One, Krang Two, and Krang Three each don their Titans and officially commence their assault on Earth.

Having escaped from the Krang zombies in Metro Tower, Splinter, Casey, and the Mad Dogs watch hopelessly as the invasion begins. Leo eventually affirms that they have truly changed the future, signifying that it is possible to stop the Krang yet, and they together devise a plan.

The Turtles board the Technodrome as April, Splinter, and Casey fight Krang Two on the New York City streets. Leo locates Raph, while Mikey and Donnie try to seize control of the ship from Krang Three. Raph and Leo become engaged in combat while Donnie successfully subdues Krang Three with his newfound control of the Technodrome, driving it back into its portal. However, Mikey and Donnie are eventually captured by Krang One, but Leo connects with Raph and helps him break free from his zombie state before Leo is captured as well. About to become corrupted, Leo encourages Mikey and Donnie to continue to resist the Krang, allowing them all to tap back into their Hamato Ninpō. They initiate an attack on Krang One that quickly moves outside of the Technodrome.

April, Splinter, and Casey force Krang Two out of her Titan and defeat her. Casey then travels to Metro Tower to retrieve the Mystic Key and seal the Krang prison dimension.

Mikey and Donnie are thrown from the Technodrome during their battle against Krang One and Raph is sent to rescue them from their fall. They crash safely in Staten Island and with all his allies now unavailable to assist him against Krang One, Leo teleports Krang One along with himself back into the Krang prison dimension. He then orders Casey to immediately close it, causing the Technodrome to get stuck partway through the portal and halved. Leo is consequently left to endure Krang One's rage inside the Prison Dimension.

In Earth's dimension, Casey, April, and Splinter are racked with grief from Leo's loss, the same being true for Raph, Mikey, and Donnie on Staten Island. In a desperate effort to rescue Leo, Mikey struggles to use the great mystic powers Casey claimed he possessed. Mikey eventually forms a mystic portal into the Krang prison dimension with Raph and Donnie's aid. The Turtles successfully free Leo, leaving Krang One isolated in his prison dimension, sparing the Earth from global subjugation by the Krang.

Sometime later after New York City is reconstructed, Splinter, Casey, and the Mad Dogs enjoy pizza atop the Brooklyn Bridge, with Casey revealing that Cassandra Jones is his mother. Content, for the time being, they then all vow to be the city's protectors when the time calls for it.

And that's the story of how Leo was one of the greatest ninjas, who's a mutant, and a turtle, and a teenager

                                                  Experience

                                                                            Izuku Midoriya

Despite being quirkless when he was originally born, Izuku is one of THE smartest students in his class, ranking number four in the midterms, and passing both the final exam, and even the provisional license exam, to get a hero license. Izuku is even smart, not just in school, but even fighting, as the other two exams. His first or second day of UA, Izuku remembered that Katsuki liked to hit with his right hand, so Izuku grabbed Katsuki’s arm, and slammed him onto the floor. During his first couple months of UA High, Deku got control of how to correctly disperse One For All throughout his entire body, making One For All: Full Cowl. When Deku had to stop using his arms, he made a second fighting style, Full Cowl: Shoot Style, inspired by his friend, and fellow hero in training, Tenya Iida.

When Deku got the hang of One For All even better, during a joint training with class 1-B, Izuku had something awaken inside of him… A couple of black tendrils came from his hand, as Izuku had no idea what the hell was going on. But after All Might told him about this, it was a former quirk from the fifth user, Daigoro Banjo. His quirk was called Blackwhip. All Might informed him that he was gonna unlock about five more quirks from the other users of One For All. After a couple of weeks of training with Endeavour, Izuku got better with his speed and even Blackwhip too. Then the wars came along. Izuku ended up unlocking Float, Danger Sense, SmokeScreen, Fa Jin, and Gearshift. He was able to use these quirks without a short span of time, and even learned how to use them properly, and even used some of his quirks to make new ultimate moves, but we will get into that later on. And that’s how Izuku became one of the greatest heroes of all time.

Rise Leonardo Hamato

Despite being a mutant turtle, he is incredible in anything basic ninjutsu, despite not really having much training, he still had quite a bit of training from watching Lou Jitsu movies. He’s also quite skilled with using Kenjutsu, aka the art of the sword. He is able to use Katanas, a mystic Odachi, and even swordfish to be used as his weapons. Including that, being a ninja comes with his perks. He is a master of stealth, Leo can slip in and out of areas undetected. These skills significantly improved after additional instruction in "The Ancient Art of Ninja Hide and Seek", Leo now being capable of blending in with his environment to the point where he can seamlessly pose as objects. He is also quite fast, despite being a turtle. Which will we get into later on into our blog.

Being skilled in Kenjutsu means he can use any blades, specifically his mystic Ōdachi, and his Mystic Katanas, and somehow, Swordfish and ladders. The Ōdachi is a mystic sword that has the ability to make portals from some swings. Although Leo is a great user of Kenjutsu, he wasn’t able to get his portals to work all the time. He would tend to mess up or just not make any portals in any way. But overtime, Leonardo would end up start to pick up on the portal generating Mystic Ōdachi, until when he got into a fight with the Shredder, Shredder would have ended up destroying the mystic weapon, along with Raph’s Tonfas and Mikey’s kusari-fundō. After training with April/Karai, he was able to unlock the Hamato Ninpo, with Donnie and Mikey, as Raph would have jumped off a tree to help them unlock the power. After unlocking the power of the Hamato Clan, Leo was able to transform some trowels into two dual Mystic Katanas, and since then, he has been able to use his katanas to help him take down any foes, and that’s what makes him a great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Equipment

Izuku Midoriya

Costume Zeta

The sixth iteration of Izuku's hero costume. After his previous outfit was almost completely destroyed, this new patchwork includes most of the primary features of the previous versions, including the improved arm bracers and the iron soles to support his arms and legs. The hood has been removed, replaced with Gran Torino's cape as a scarf. The damaged mask from his previous costume remains a part of this one.

Iron Soles

Created by Mei, these Iron Armor Soles attach to Izuku's signature red shoes. Upon kicking something, the soles absorb the impact and redistribute the kinetic energy back out to increase the impact strength of Izuku's kicks. Izuku requested the soles to strengthen his kicks after resolving to change his fighting style.

Air Force Gloves

Created by Mei, these gloves allow Izuku to focus and aim bursts of pressurized air that he creates by flicking his fingers. This allows Izuku to use long-range projectile attacks using One For All. After Izuku's battle with Tomura during the Paranormal Liberation War, the gloves, along with the arm bracers, were completely destroyed, but later received a new version of them from Mei.

Mid Gauntlet

Presumably created by Melissa after the Paranormal Liberation War, similar to the Full Gauntlet, it allows Izuku to use One For All's power in higher percentages without the worry of harming his body, though it will break if used at 100%. Following his fight with Lady Nagant, Izuku's left Mid-Gauntlet is partially destroyed, leaving it practically useless. He later receives new replica versions of the Mid-Gauntlets from Mei.

Rise Leonardo Hamato

Mystic Ōdachi

A sword Leonardo stole from Baron Draxum’s lab. The Mystic Ōdachi has the ability to generate portals between different locations when its blade is swiped through the air. This can be activated through a variety of different motions like moving the blade in a circular motion ("Minotaur Maze"), in a single downward or upward swipe ("Many Unhappy Returns"), or via a combination of motions ("The Mutant Menace"). The number and size of the Ōdachi's portals can be dictated by its wielder: the larger the portal, the greater the distance and number of objects it can teleport. The limit to how far the Ōdachi's portals can teleport is currently unknown, the farthest known portal generated was from New York City, New York to Tahiti, French Polynesia. Manually closing the portals is unneeded as they close as soon as they are excited. Its wielder can physically manipulate the Ōdachi's already-generated portals, able to move them to a different location from where they were first generated ("Operation: Normal") or tilt them in a desired direction to control the angle that one exits from them ("Many Unhappy Returns"). The Ōdachi's portals possess a pull that can draw objects and people through them without them moving, allowing the teleportation of unwilling targets and a large number of objects as shown in "Portal Jacked!".

Mystic Katanas

A pair of trowels with blue handles forged by Todd, turned into katanas with the Hamato Ninpo. Leonardo is able to make portals like the original Odachi Sword, but has an extra bonus for it.  Using his sword as a point of focus, Leo can teleport himself or anyone holding one of his swords to the location of the other. This teleportation ability is restricted to relatively short distances.

Powers and Abilities

Izuku Midoriya

One For All

Transferred to him from Toshinori Yagi, Izuku's Quirk allowed him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing him to significantly enhance all of his physical abilities to various boundless levels. This resulted in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, stamina, agility, and durability. When Izuku activated One For All, red, vein-like lines course throughout the empowered part of his body.

Izuku could focus the stockpiled power into a single body part, or spread it across his entire body evenly, though, focusing the power in a single part puts a greater strain on that part of his body. He was also able to control what percentage of his full power that he uses. Since he was not born with this power, his body was not naturally suited to handle it, however, over time and with continued training with it, his body has become more accustomed to bracing for the strain. He was able to handle 45% of his full power without breaking his bones, with 30% being his normal output.

One For All also cannot be stolen from any other quirk stealing quirks, and even transferred forcibly through DNA, as the other vestiges of One For All don't allow it, and Deku has to willingly give One For All for the transfer to work.

Vestige World

In addition to the stockpiling power, Izuku also had access to a subconscious realm where vestiges of the consciousnesses of the previous One For All holders dwell. These vestiges could trigger Izuku to activate One For All without any conscious input from himself, as seen when he was under the control of Hitoshi's Brainwashing Quirk and illusionary shadows of these echoes appeared in his vision. Izuku had little to no control over this aspect of One For All, being unable to freely enter or exit, his body not being fully materialized, which limited his movement within the realm, and only being able to talk through muffled sounds since his mouth has not fully manifested yet. However, Izuku had reached the point where he can freely communicate with the vestiges of the previous users while still conscious. Izuku is the first holder of One For All known to have gained access to this realm while still alive.

Izuku was granted access to the Quirks of the previous owners of One For All, but he has since transferred all of them to Tomura in an effort to defeat him. In addition to transferring the Quirks of One For All, Izuku also transferred One For All itself to Tomura, leaving him with only the "leftover embers". *SEE BTV

Onto his other quirks!!

GearShift

The Quirk of the second user, Kudo. This Quirk allows Izuku to change the speed and/or velocity of any target he touches, including himself. This allows him to greatly accelerate his own speed and/or the velocity of his target, and enhance the impact force of his own strikes. After years of being empowered within One For All, Gearshift has evolved into an unusual power that cannot be wielded the usual way. It has also been designated as a last resort.

Fa Jin

The Quirk of the third user, Bruce.(God, I still H A T E his name. Why couldn’t they give him a japanese name?! ) This Quirk allows Izuku to build up and store kinetic energy by performing repetitive movement. He can later release this stored energy as an explosive burst of speed and power.

Danger Sense

The Quirk of the fourth user, Hikage Shinomori. Formerly residing in One For All, this Quirk allowed Izuku to detect threats in the surrounding area. Due to the amplification of One For All, the detection caused a stabbing sensation in his head and took a toll on his body. (huh, reminds me of a certain someone’s super power… HMMMMM!!!)

BlackWhip

The Quirk of the fifth user, Daigoro Banjo. This Quirk allows Izuku to generate tendrils of black energy from his body that are good for grappling. It is useful for grabbing things from long distances, capturing opponents, and increasing Izuku's mobility. (HUH THIS IS ALSO SUPER SIMILAR TOO!)

SmokeScreen

The Quirk of the sixth user, En Tayutai. This Quirk allows Izuku to generate a thick cloud of purple smoke from his body. This smoke can cover a very wide area and obscure peoples' vision. (I guess he’s just a goddamn pokemon now, fantastic)

Float

The Quirk of the seventh user, Nana Shimura. This Quirk allows Izuku to suspend himself in mid-air, granting him flight, which we will get into later on into our lovely blog we have here.

Now onto his ultimate moves.

Detroit Smash

The same as All Might's move, except Izuku does it in the form of an uppercut or a straightforward punch.

Detroit Smash: Quintuple

Izuku enhances himself with Gearshift and performs five Detroit Smashes in quick succession.

Delaware Smash

Izuku flicks his finger to create a powerful wind pressure shock wave that has enough force to break large chunks of ice made by Shoto. Due to using this attack at 100%, it fractures the finger, limiting the time he can use this move without gravely injuring himself up to ten times.

United States Of World Smash

This Ultimate Move is Izuku's variation of All Might's United States of Smash. Izuku begins this Ultimate Move by increasing his power levels using Full Cowl - 100% and starts unleashing a violent volley of punches. After this, he runs around his opponent, building up momentum and increasing air pressure before delivering a devastating kick.

Full Cowling

Through his training with Gran Torino, Izuku was able to unlock this stage of his power and get better control of his Quirk. This technique allows Izuku to utilize a percentage of the full power of One For All throughout his body, by letting the power course and flow through him instead of concentrating it in one location. According to Izuku, this technique gives him greater maneuverability. Activating this technique gives him immense strength, speed, mobility, and agility. It also prevents him from breaking his bones when attacking. The cost of using this technique reduces the damage of how much his attacks do since instead of centering the power into a certain area, Izuku spreads it throughout his body. Izuku has been steadily improving the upper limits of the percentage of One For All that he could safely use with this technique since its creation. Izuku's initial limits at the time of creating the technique only allowed him to utilize 5% of the maximum output. During Izuku's fight against Katsuki after the Provisional Hero License Exam, he further improved this limit to 8%. Since his battle against Overhaul, Izuku was capable of using 20% without breaking his bones. At the start of Izuku's internship with Endeavor, he described his percentage limitations to be in the interval of 10% to 15% of his full power without any extraneous load and had also stated that he could use 20%, but not without causing immense pain that would majorly hinder his mobility in battle. By the start of the Paranormal Liberation War, Izuku improved this limit to 30% with the extraneous usage limit of 45% of his full power.  When Izuku activates Full Cowl, red, vein-like lines course throughout his body that coincides with the energy flowing through him. When fully active, his body and eyes start to glow with a green, bio-electric aura.

Five Percent Detroit Smash

Izuku activates Full Cowl at 5% then jumps into the air and delivers an enhanced downward punch to the opponent. He has also used this move in the form of a straight, forward-facing punch.

Delaware Smash: Air Force

Izuku uses his upgraded gloves that Mei made for him to direct a blast of compressed air against his foe, possessing enough concussive force to stun Gentle Criminal while he was in mid-air, giving Izuku an opening to catch up to him. By using all five of his fingers, he can launch up to four Delaware Smashes simultaneously. It requires 20% of his power to use it effectively using One For All.

One For All- 30%

A technique that allows Izuku to use 30% of One For All in his right arm. This percentage was used in conjunction with Melissa Shield's Full Gauntlet, which nullified any drawbacks to using One For All at higher percentages. Because of this, it is unknown how this state affects Izuku's body under normal conditions. With 30% Izuku was able to effortlessly blow away security bots with vast amounts of wind pressure created by the punch.

One For All- 45%

A technique that allows Izuku to use 45% of One For All. He's only able to bring this level of power out for a brief period of time; to keep it from wrecking his body he activates it just before the moment of impact.

St Louis Smash Air Force

Izuku arches his leg back and performs a strong vertical roundhouse kick, firing a large blast of compressed air.

One For All- 100%

A technique that allows Izuku to attack using the full power of One For All in the desired part of his body, with the cost of said body part breaking upon execution. Further usage of the same limb after an initial attack can cause scarring, as seen with his fights against Shoto (causing Izuku to get surgery on his right hand due to injuries) and Muscular (leaving multiple scars across his right arm).

100% Detroit Smash

This move involves Izuku activating One For All at 100% in his arm and then striking his target with a lunging punch.

1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash

This move is the strongest smash move in Izuku's arsenal, which involves him activating One For All at 100% during an adrenaline rush and then striking his opponent with a full-swing attack. When performing the move Izuku first uses a full-handed Delaware Smash, then delivers a devastating Detroit Smash. During the climax of his battle with Muscular, Izuku managed to overpower and launch his augmented opponent with enough force to create an impact crater in solid rock with the strike alone, thus defeating the villain.

Texas Smash

Izuku throws a punch in order to create wind pressure in order to blow objects and people away.

 Wyoming Smash

Izuku draws out 100% of his power into his arms, then proceeds to spike his opponent on the head, creating a powerful shockwave as a result.

Full Cowl- Shoot Style

While using Full Cowl, Izuku uses a fighting style that focuses more on kicking. Izuku concentrates One for All: Full Cowl's effects in his torso and legs rather than his arms, allowing him to put out even more power due to the fact that the human leg muscles are naturally stronger than the human arm muscles, granting him enough power and stability and allowing him to step away from the shackles of having to imitate All Might.

Shoot Style: St Louis Smash

While using the Shoot Style, Izuku leaps into the air and before swinging around to deliver a roundhouse kick to the opponent's face. Izuku used this move to incapacitate Gentle Criminal, who had been empowered by La Brava's Lover Mode Quirk to match Izuku's use of One for All: Full Cowl at 8% of its power.

Full Cowl - 20%

Izuku uses 20% of One For All's full power and distributes it throughout his body, giving him even greater power and speed boost.

Manchester Smash

Izuku leaps into the air and flips forward to bring down an axe kick upon his opponent.

Full Cowl - 30%

A technique that allows Izuku to consistently use 30% of One For All. He was able to utilize this level of One For All near the end of his first year of high school, during the war with the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Froppy Style

Using Blackwhip, he shoots a singular tendril out of his mouth and uses it like Tsuyu does with her tongue.

Full Blast

Izuku uses Smokescreen at its maximum, producing a wide area of smoke, blocking the view of his opponent and potentially himself, as well.

Pinpoint Focus

Using Blackwhip, he quickly shoots a long-ranged tendril at a specific target to attack them.

Faux 100 Percent

Izuku draws out 45% of One For All's power, and combines it with the stored kinetic energy generated by Fa Jin. By doing this he is able to draw out the blinding speed of using One For All at 100%, without the recoil that comes with it.

Faux 100 Percent: Manchester Smash

Izuku activates Faux 100 Percent, and lands an axe kick on to his opponent at blinding speed.

Blackchain

By combining Blackwhip and Fa Jin, Izuku is able to create a chain that is able to ensnare and launch opponents at great distances.

Transmission

Izuku rushes towards his opponent and punches them several times, with each punch increasing the speed of Gearshift affecting his opponent. These shifts in speed are labelled as "gears."

Overdrive

Izuku uses Gearshift and Fa Jin on himself, increasing his speed and boosting his power to catch up to opponents and unleash powerful attacks on them. The force he unleashes is described as 120% of One For All.

Flight

By combining Air Force, Fa Jin, and Float, Izuku is able to fly and accelerate across the skies. He used this combination to cross the ocean to reach his friends across 200 kilometers. He also copied Bakugou's "Explosive Speed" for this move.

Rise Leonardo Hamato

Portal Generating/ Portal Power Jutsu  (Via Odachi)

With the Mystic Ōdachi, Leo can create portals when its blade is swiped through the air to teleport people/objects from one location to another. Leo can also do different movements and even say “Hachi Machi” to activate his portals. He can also make any sizes too, sometimes, the smaller sizes are usually just mishaps whenever he messes up.(Although this hasn't happened as much as before since he mastered the portals at the end of the series.)

Odachi Bomb (Via Odachi)

A technique where Leo falls from a portal of his creation at a high elevation to attack an opponent from above, using his momentum to knock them to the ground.

Portal Generating/ Portal Power Jutsu(Via Mystic Katanas.)

Like the Mystic Odachi, Leonardo is able to make portals with his Mystic Katanas, which he gained from the Hamato Ninpo, and can make any sizes, and can do any movement to activate said portals.

Teleportation (Via Mystic Katanas.)

Using his sword as a point of focus, Leo can teleport himself or anyone holding one of his swords to the location of the other. This teleportation ability is restricted to relatively short distances.

Able to use swordfish as...swords…(huh, this show is odd)

As shown above, in the episode, “Fish and Ladders” Leo is able to use swordfish as actual swords. While this can be thrown off as a one time thing in this specific episode, it is still worthy to note that he copied this from Lou Jitsu.

Kenjutsu

Leo is trained in wielding katana and the ōdachi. He makes use of the Mystic Ōdachi for skilled offense and defense, allowing him to slice through sturdy material. He is extremely skilled in Kenjutsu, being able to use his Odachi and Katanas without having to rely on the mystic powers of them.

Stealth

As a practitioner of ninjutsu, Leo can slip in and out of areas undetected. These skills significantly improved after additional instruction in "The Ancient Art of Ninja Hide and Seek"(as shown above), Leo now being capable of blending in with his environment to the point where he can seamlessly pose as objects. Even in the same room as his opponents, he can easily blend into the shadows like a real ninja

Resistances

Izuku Midoriya

  • Mind Manipulation: With his willpower, as well as the help of the Vestiges, was able to use OFA to break his fingers, shocking himself out of Shinsou’s brainwashing, as seen above.

  • Power Stealing: The Vestiges protected Deku from having OFA be taken from him by Nine as well as Shigaraki, as seen in the One For All section.

  • Extreme Temperatures: Can withstand fire and ice from Shoto Todoroki, and scales to All Might who can touch superheated plasma without injury.

  • Toxins/Gasses: Deku’s mouthguard on his uniform can act as a gas mask, protecting him from toxic substances and other gasses.

Rise Leonardo Hamato

  • Body/Mind Control- With his willpower, and sheer love for his brothers, Raph, Mikey, and Doniie, he was able to resist the control of Krang, as shown above, and in this video here

Forms

Now this is a special case for Izuku specifically. As Izuku has three forms, but they could also be considered his powers, that being Full Cowling at 100%, Enraged, and Deku Overlay  but we’ll get to this later on into the blog.

Izuku Midoriya

Full Cowling-100%

Izuku activates One For All to its fullest extent throughout Full Cowl, granting him a tremendous boost in speed and strength that not only rivaled that of All Might but allowed Izuku to easily overwhelm the likes of Kai Chisaki. This was first used against Kai Chisaki to protect Eri. The power increase seemingly gives him fire-like trails coming from his eyes and light-colored hair. He can currently only use it infinitely with no damage done to his body while in physical contact with Eri. Since Eri has the ability to Rewind the state of a person's body, any damage done to Izuku's body by using One For All at 100% would continually be undone by Eri's Quirk which proved useful in his fight with Overhaul. Izuku has also used this form at least three other times, against Nine, Flect Turn, and Shigaraki in their second fight in the Final War

Enraged Form

While Izuku has become this form, and used it against Shigaraki, not once, but almost twice, due to Mirio helping him calm down. It is usually only under certain circumstances for Deku to activate this. Deku has to see the ones whom he wants to protect critically injured or even dead, example Katsuki Bakugou. It is still worthy to mention due to it being a form Izuku has and used before.

Deku Overlay

After becoming immobilized by the effects of Gearshift, Izuku uses his Blackwhip to pull at the muscles and tendons within his body to simulate movement, which shows up as dark lines underneath his skin. While this form would be nice to include, he only uses it while fighting Shigaraki under certain circumstances, so it won't be included, sadge.

Rise Leonardo Hamato

Hamato Ninpo

Hamato Ninpō is an ancient mystic power derived from a very powerful source of unknown origins that makes the art exclusive to the Hamato Clan called the Hamato essence, a type of life force that is passed down through generations of the clan. Hamato Ninpō gives its users access to the collective power of past Hamato Clan members, bestowing its users a large amount of mystic energy that grants them various superhuman abilities. Hamato commonly possess an additional ability (e.g., technology generation) as well as the base superhuman powers given by Hamato Ninpō, but many users don't possesses a unique ability exclusive to oneself because the large number of Hamato Clan members makes shared unique abilities inevitable and there are a limited amount of possible unique Hamato Ninpō abilities. Leonardo has since unlocked this form due to the training he did with April/Karai, and gave him his portals and teleportation from said form.

Izuku Midoriya

Izuku is not without his own personal flaws. Being a hero means he would not want to kill anyone, only time he has too, is if the person he is fighting, is a super huge threat, like Shigaraki or All For One, that’s the only time he has to kill someone. Izuku also can’t really use GearShift that much either if it in its current empowered form for too long without rest is that Izuku's body will not receive enough oxygen to properly function If Gearshift is used more than once after the initial five minutes, the blowback will be twice as greater than the previous as it may cause intense pain to the body, rendering the user nearly paralyzed. Izuku also has a tendency to break his FREAKING BONES, if he’s using One For All at full one hundred percent, but even if Deku breaks himself, he has enough endurance to power through the pain, and can just keep going into the fight no matter what, but besides those weaknesses he has, he is a great hero no matter what.

Rise Leonardo Hamato

Despite being a leader in the recent movie, well like two years old movie, Leo isn’t… the smartest tool in the shed. Now, I’m saying he’s a straight up idiot who can’t think, I mean that he doesn’t really make plans for his fights. Leo is more of a jokester, and he loves to crack one liners into the middle of the dang fight. He has a tendency to screw up missions with his family, even then, Leo usually, USUALLY, fights with his brothers. He also slacks in his training too, I mean, a lot. His Mystic Ōdachi tends to also backfire on him as well, either not forming, making a small portal, working, but then just teleporting back to him, or working, portalling someone away, but then the portal comes back to him. Yeah, Leo has a lot of weaknesses but that doesn’t stop him from being  a Mad Dog, Or A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Before the Verdict…

(be warned, these next few parts will HAVE MAJOR SPOILERS FOR MHA, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!)

Izuku having only the embers by the end of his third year in UA, and becoming quirkless again

As mentioned back in the vestige section of Izuku’s powers and abilities, Izuku had transferred absolutely everything he had, besides Danger Sense, that got stolen from him, but he transferred every single quirk into Shigaraki to destroy him from the inside. He even transferred One For All into Shigaraki, leaving him with only the embers like All Might, after transferring One For All to Izuku. After his third year of UA High, he completely lost everything, rendering him quirkless like in the very beginning of My Hero Academia, although he did get an iron man type suit like All Might did with his third and final fight with All For One. Although this technically has no other feats, moves, or anything like that, it will NOT be used for this blog and fight, meaning Deku will have everything from One For All and even One For All itself, as this would be considered his peak state, and it will be used for this fight!

Izuku’s Planet Level feat from atomizing AFO

As mentioned back in Izuku’s power section of his feats, he was able to completely atomize AFO by using simply the embers of One For All. Mind you, this isn’t with Gearshift or Fa Jin, this is OFA at its weakest, no secondary powers. And the feat was widely accepted by basically everyone, except for VSWIKI, they rejected this feat. But to be fair, if it was widely accepted by basically everyone in the vs debating community, and to be fair, VSWIKI isn’t the best to use for feats, so since this was widely accepted by everyone in the vs debating community, this feat will be used to have Deku at one of his peak states, despite being quirkless (also if anyone has a problem with this, blame us, not me.)

Leo’s high end feat from the final attack against Shredder

As stated in the power section of Leonardo, this feat is a high end, meaning it really shouldn’t count. Why you may ask, well because this feat here, is a high ball in a way, and even then Leo had help from his family, Raph, Mikey, Donnie, April, Splinter, Baron, and Cassandra, so it would have to be divided by eight for the feat to be completely fine, and even then, there are other ways for this feat to be calced, as shown in the link put for the feat, so those ones will all likely be used for this fight.

The explosion from the Technodrome feat

As shown in the power section of Leo’s feats, this feat is VERY iffy, said by the person who even calced this said feat from the ROTTMNT movie, which does help us in same way shape or form, as this feat has to be taken with a massive grain of salt, like the one McDonald’s puts on the their fire,(Damn those are good, don’t fight me, you’ll lose either way.) And in this case, this feat will NOT be used for this fight.

Fight Script

This is the first ever blog I have ever made, please be nice about it, but this won’t be my first fight script, as I have made many, many, M A N Y, fight scripts.

Verdict

                                                               Stats

Alright, this was a doozy to research and complete. It has been a whole month to finish this blog! But let's get into this verdict! Both being teens who have powers, both were pretty strong and fast, but let's get to Leo first. He had many strength feats that put him in a lot of places, but the three that put him high are all from the last attack on shredder in the finale of rise, being 40 gigatons, 141 gigatons, and even 6.5 teratons, then he has the high end feat from the final attack too, but wasn't use at it is a highball, and even the 1.357 Ninatons of TNT from the technodrome, but wasn't used due to the researcher saying it's bad. Then his speed, having him at mach 0.69, mach 10, but the fastest are 12.5% and 25% SOL, which isn't bad to scoff at, that's quite strong and fast, and now let's get to Deku. He had many strength feats, but the one that is the strongest ones are him being at 2.86 teratons to 80 teratons, but he has another feat. Atomizing AFO with the embers of OFA, and changing the weather around the whole world, put him at 75.287 Zettatons of TNT! The first two feats from Leo are weaker than Deku's first feat, but Leo's third feat is 2.2 times stronger than Izuku's first feat, but then the second feat of Izuku's strength is 12.3 times stronger than Leo's last feat, hell his 75.287 Zettatons of TNT is MUCH stronger than anything Leo has that I used. Then with the Izuku's speed is everywhere, but the fastest is 35% SOL, and if we take Leo's fastest, Izuku is 1.4 times faster, which isn't alot, but still faster, and that's without Fa Jin and Gearshift, he is likely to close or even widen the gap a little bit, without using the two other feats, just the 2.86 teratons, if Izuku uses Fa Jin and Gearshift, he can easily close the gap of power, and widen the speed gap, meaning Deku and Leo are super close, but lets give it to Izuku! He takes both the speed and strength! But their durability is kinda equal.

Arsenal and Abilities

Now, let's go onto their arsenal and abilities! Pretty straight forward, Leo takes arsenal one hundred percent, heh funny, of the time. While yes, Deku has costume changes, but Leo has full blow weapons, ninja weapons specifically. Now onto their abilities, while Leo has portals and teleportation, Izuku has far more powers and abilities; Can make wind pressure, can punch really hard, can kick really hard, can increase the speed of himself or objects, can store kinetic energy and can release this stored energy as an explosive burst of speed and power, can detect incoming attacks(unless they are too fast or not malice), can make tendrils that are good for grappling, grabbing things from long distances, capturing opponents, and increasing his mobility, can create a cloud of smoke, and can float. It's obvious who takes abilities here. So Deku takes another one!

Tertiary Factors

Moving to things like experience and skill, it can go either way for each other. While Leo has the better training over Izuku, Izuku and Leo only started to fight real opponents until they got older, and Izuku is no slouch to people using swords. Deku has gone toe to toe with the Hero Killer Stain, so that knowledge of fighting Stain could carry over here, and he beat Stain too. Even if Leo has portals and teleportation, Izuku's far superior intelligence in both smarts and fighting could help him way better than Leo's portals. Now, Leo isn't an idiot, he can come up with great plans, but he's not a planning person, unlike Izuku, who plans mid battle. Izuku can easily use DangerSense and SmokeScreen to help with Leo's stealth, use BlackWhip to take the swords away from Leo, then bam, no more swords, but Leo is a ninja and being a son of an action star, meaning he can use his surroundings to his own will, like swordfish and ladders, like Lou did, and if Izuku takes one katana, Leo can easily teleport to the other to get it back, but Izuku can easily figure it out, and win. Izuku gets IQ, Battle IQ, while some part of skill, while Leo gets Experience, Combat, and some part of skill.

Now, Leo and Izuku have good ways to put each other out of the question, by non-lethal or lethal means. while Leo has blades that can make Izuku bleed out, or BFR with his Ōdachi, but it will likely just come back to him, while Izuku can break Leo's swords with his smashes, or just take them away from him, but it could lean in Deku's favor. Despite being 1.4 times faster than Leo, Izuku can easily widen the gap by increasing his speed with Fa Jin and GearShift, meaning Izuku can permantly stop the teleportation and portals from Leo.

While Leo's ninja moves, and his portals and teleportation can help stall Deku, Deku's faster speed, smarter tactics, and overall abilities can smash this Hero in a Half Shell's chances of winning.
